How to use the decision wheel
- Type each option into the list. Up to 24 fit, from names to dinner ideas.
- Tap Spin, tap the centre of the wheel, or grab it and fling it.
- Watch the pointer tick past each peg as it slows. The winning slice lights up.
- Use Remove it and spin again to knock options out one by one, like a raffle.
Is the random picker wheel fair?
Every result comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for security keys. The animation is just for fun: the outcome is drawn first and the physics is solved to land on it, so no option is favored.
Every slice is the same size, so each option has exactly the same chance.
Ideas for your wheel
- Picking a winner for a giveaway or a classroom name picker
- What to eat tonight, or which restaurant to try
- Chore wheel for roommates or kids
- Truth or dare, party games and team picks
- Which movie, book or workout to do next
When a wheel isn't enough
A wheel is perfect when the options are equally fine. When they aren't, and one choice genuinely matters more, tell Choice what you're deciding. It weighs your options and gives you a reason, not just a result.
